Dr. Misner holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and is a New York Times bestselling author of 26 books, including "Who's in Your Room?" He is also a university professor, a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of La Verne, and a columnist for Entrepreneur.com.
Forbes and CNN have called Dr. Misner the "Father of Modern Networking," and he is considered to be one of the world’s leading experts on business networking. He has been a keynote speaker for major corporations and associations throughout the world and has been featured in the L.A. Times, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times. Dr. Misner has also appeared on numerous TV and radio shows, including CNN, the BBC, and The Today Show on NBC.
In addition to his impressive career, Dr. Misner is a recipient of the "Humanitarian of the Year" award from the Red Cross and the John C. Maxwell Leadership Award. He and his late wife, Elisabeth, are the Co-Founders of the BNI Charitable Foundation. Dr. Misner is also an amateur magician and a black belt in karate.
