Holy Buckets Batman: The Power of Laughter

Jenn can appear like everyone you know but what you can't see is how much of a GIANT she is inside. She uses stories, humor, love, and relentless optimism to drive home her unique gifts to the world.

Yes, she has excavated a Neanderthal kill site in France and a child burial in West Virginia.

Yes, she reversed a Suburban into a deep hole that construction equipment had to scoop her out of and knocked over a large construction wall in a mall.

Yes, raccoons broke into her cooler while camping, and her canoe hit a rock that sank in the Boundary Waters.

Those stories would be what most people do their best to hide, but not Jenn.

She's an open book and she is a master of awkward authenticity but on the other side of that fence is massive brilliance.

Jenn holds a MA and BA in Anthropology and was for a brief time enrolled to obtain her Ph.D. in Anthropology. Being an archaeologist has granted her gift to see things many never do – we are all people trying to keep warm, feed ourselves, and love our children.

From archaeology to her geospatial mapping day job, Jenn has a love of maps and navigating.

As a lifelong explorer, Jenn has done and continues to do the deep work on herself. She wore a dress of self-doubt with a side of imposter syndrome for many years. Like a wave, these feelings would come and go. Several years ago, Jenn realized she was not happy. She signed up for a speaking class called Speak to Inspire, hoping to inspire herself. It opened the door to transformation and a new way of being. If you ask Jenn, she will say something you have to get lost to find your path.

Jenn lives in Minnesota with her amazing family, including her dog Circe who loves to share the hammock with her momma.

Today you're in for a treat because Jenn is joining us to talk about choosing joy, taking a stand for yourself, and helping you remember that humor is the best medicine.
