One of the 12 Journeys · Shoots season · walked with Liv

Letting go isn't giving up.

You're the one who holds it together. The planner, the fixer, the one who sees it coming. And you're tired in a place naps don't reach — because control is a full-time job with no time off, and the world keeps refusing to follow the plan.

Here's what the white-knuckle years never taught you: there's a difference between letting go and dropping. Surrender isn't collapse. It's precision — learning exactly what's yours to carry, carrying that with everything you have, and setting down the rest. This journey teaches the setting down.

You already know this one if…

  • Delegating feels more dangerous than doing it all yourself
  • Other people's choices — your kids', your partner's, your team's — keep you up at night
  • Rest feels like negligence
  • You've sensed that the grip is costing you the very things it's protecting

What's different on the other side

  • You learn the line between your side and life's side — and stop working both
  • Trust stops being naive and starts being a skill
  • The energy that ran surveillance comes back for living

How it's walked

Not a course you watch. A journey you walk.

Liv's story holds this one. The practices are somatic — the grip lives in the body, so that's where the release gets practiced.

Story, science, practice

Every stage pairs Liv's story with the teaching and a practice you do in your real life — not a worksheet about someone else's.

Walked through your challenge

Tell the Tribe what you're carrying and Rimi reframes every stage around it. Your life becomes the curriculum.

Taught back, made yours

You explain each idea in your own words before moving on — because insight you can't say isn't yours yet. A tribe walks beside you the whole way.

Questions

Asked honestly, answered honestly

If I let go, won't everything fall apart?

That belief is the engine of the grip — and it's rarely been tested. The journey has you test it in small, safe, real increments. What most people find: some things wobble, nothing falls, and several things actually improve without supervision.

Is surrender religious?

It doesn't have to be. If you have a faith, surrender will sit naturally beside it; if you don't, it works as a practical skill — the accurate assignment of responsibility. The journey holds space for both.
