A Quick, Honest Note About Coaches and Content You'll See Out There

The Tribe of Giants · July 17, 2026

A coach transparently disclosing a paid partnership to their online community, representing affiliate honesty and trust in content

Hey Tribe —

As more coaches and community leaders join us and start talking about the Tribe of Giants in their own videos, posts, and referral links, we want to be upfront with you about something: some of that content is paid.

Here's the deal. Any coach, community leader, or affiliate who promotes My 12 Journeys for a commission, a free membership, or any other perk is required to say so. Plainly. If they post about us on social, film a testimonial video, or share a referral link, it needs a '#ad' or 'paid partner' style disclosure right there with it — not buried, not implied, not left for you to guess. That's now baked into every coach's onboarding agreement, so it holds as our coach network grows.

Why bother telling you this in a feed post? Because trust is the whole point of this place. Rimi, your AI guide inside the app, walks with you journey by journey through daily check-ins and teach-back mastery checkpoints — nothing hidden, nothing assumed about where you are. We want that same kind of directness to follow you outside the app too. If someone's telling you about the Tribe because they're getting something for it, you deserve to know that going in, not find out after.

This doesn't change what a coach's recommendation is worth — plenty of people genuinely love this place and would talk about it for free. It just means when there's money or perks involved, you'll be told, every time, no exceptions.

Have you run into promotional content — ours or anyone else's — that didn't disclose a paid relationship? Tell us in the comments. We're building this policy to hold up as the coach network grows, and hearing where you've seen it done badly (or done well) helps us get it right.
